Small Works Series

The small works series is an eclectic mix of subjects which include various methods such as collage, found objects, wire, pigment powders, and transfers.

Think Inside The Box Series

Inspired by the canvases themselves I created vignettes within the boxes with layers of encaustic panels. As the work progressed I attached found items and felt inspired to extend the vignette out onto the canvas with wire, thread and gold leaf.

Circus Series

Color was the inspiration for the small series of circus works. They are embellished with colored glass and vintage carnival drawings to give the feeling of the fun and excitement we felt as children at the circus or carnival.
